After two weeks of playing on the Cal Poly Humboldt home field, Cal Poly Humboldt Softball heads down to Cal State San Marcos this week and then will be back at home against Chico State on April 24th for Strikeout Cancer day.
While at home on April 3, softball put up a 3-1 game win against Cal State Monterey Bay from -4 and then a one win and one loss record against Cal State San Bernardino last Thursday, April 9. Two of the games that were meant to be last Friday April 10 were canceled due to weather.
Across the four games against Cal State Monterey Bay, Humboldt averaged five runs, nine hits and five strikeouts.
The Lumberjacks averaged five hits, five runs and four strikeouts against San Bernardino.
In their two week home stint, the Jacks walked away with four wins and two losses at home leaving the team with a 10-8 conference standing.
